The Exciting World of Science: Lectures and Hands-On Laboratory Experiments
WhizKids has designed numerous modules to supplement classroom instruction in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) areas. Each module is aligned with national standards and contains a lecture segment and hands-on laboratory.
Grade levels eligible: 4-9
Science Fair Projects in Schools
WhizKids staff guide students and teachers through the science fair process from start to finish. Students learn about the scientific method, experimental design, data analysis, and create an attractive display.

Field Trips and Presentations
Field trips can be arranged to a variety of locations. Before the field trip, WhizKids gives presentations to illustrate a particular topic. The information is reinforced on-site, during the field trip. Current WhizKids field trip locations include the Museum of Science, the New England Aquarium, MITRE, McAuliffe Space Center, MIT, and the Center for Engineering Educational Outreach at Tufts University.

Motivational Speaking Engagements
Topics include careers in science and engineering, challenges facing women in science, reasons for involvement in science research, community service opportunities; additional topics are available per request.

A Science Odyssey: CSI Comes to Boston
A science day can be designed for schools and organizations! Designing a program specifically tailored to the needs of each group, the Foundation designs hands-on learning experiences (aligned with national science standards), arranges for a venue, provides supplies, etc.
Grade levels eligible: 4-8
YES! (Youth Entrepreneurship Service): The Art of Entrepreneurship
WhizKids and NECINA (the New England Chinese Information and Network Association) co-sponsor an entrepreneurship contest. Students attend lectures given by successful entrepreneurs, learn how to write a business plan, and then compete in a business plan contest.
